Since its release not even a year ago, New World has had a bit a mixed reception. At first, New World soared to the top of the Steam Charts and broke records for the most-played game on the platform, but in the following months, Amazon's MMO has lost players at a pretty staggering rate. Some have pointed to the game's lack of updates for the reason behind player abandonment, so hopefully New World's Easter event update will bring a handful back to the game.
